Vision, Advocacy, Service and Education
The Poway Business Park has continued to grow since its inception in 1997 and is now recognized as the main commercial area and the greatest economic success of Poway, a thriving city located in northeast San Diego County, California. The Poway Business Park is located at the southeastern end of Poway, which has been ranked the sixth best city in California in which to locate a business (Outlook Magazine). The Poway Business Park offers property owners and tenants a high-quality infrastructure with numerous amenities. It now encompasses more than 8 million square feet of office, commercial and industrial space established over more than 900 acres and has an average vacancy rate of just 5.6%. These businesses are referred to as "Residents" in the Poway Business Park Association. Participation in the Poway Business Park Association is also open to businesses and organizations not located within the Poway Business Park provided the business or organization provides goods or services to businesses within the Poway Business Park. These businesses are referred to as "Associates" in the Poway Business Park Association. The growth of the Poway Business Park has provided a positive economic impact on the City of Poway and the greater San Diego region. We are proud to be of service to this strong, vibrant community of businesses.
The Poway Business Park Association has evolved into a vibrant association of the approximately 600 businesses that employ approximately 20,000 employees within the Poway Business Park. The Poway Business Park Association is comprised of business representatives of a variety of industries, including manufacturing entities, retail and wholesale businesses, business and personal service firms, engineering and architectural firms, financial institutions, communications firms, insurance companies, realtors, computer and data processing service providers, legal service providers and agricultural, mining and utilities service providers. The Poway Business Park is now headquarters to many nationally and internationally recognized corporations, including General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc., Sysco Foods, First American Credco Corp. and Geico Direct. The Poway Business Park is also home to a major hotel chain and a number of high volume retailers, including Costco and Home Depot.
The Poway Business Park Association is dedicated to the support of the interests of all Residents and Associates and acts as a key advocate for these businesses. Benefits available to Residents and Associates include the following:

• Educational programs and seminars that foster good business standards
• Discount programs established for the benefit of Resident and Associate businesses
• Business spotlights which highlight the goods and services offered by Resident and Associate businesses
